Once you have shared content or if you have content that was shared with you, it appears in your library. 

To share content, you must be logged in to your EchoExam account.

Shared With Me

From the My Library tab, click the Shared tab and then select Shared With Me. Content that other instructors have shared with you appears here. Each type of shared content is organized under its own tab. Your access to the shared content depends on the permissions the original content owner sets. 

Key rules for content shared with you

• Only sub-sections that include content are displayed
• Hovering over the Share indicator reveals the permissions granted (which always include at least View) and the content owner's name and email.
• The content disappears from your Shared With Me if permissions are removed.
• You cannot be removed from individual questions if shared via a larger item (e.g., a Test or Question Bank).
• Removing sharing from a question or test removes it from any content the user added it to—except for Ready, In Progress, or Complete exams, which are unaffected.

Shared By Me

From the My Library tab, click the Shared tab and then select Shared By Me. Content that you have shared with other instructors appears here. Each type of shared content is organized under its own tab. You can edit the permissions or remove content access at any time. Hovering over the Shared indicator reveals the number of users to whom the content is shared.

Key rules for your shared content

• Only sub-sections that include content are displayed
• Removing a user revokes their access, and the content is removed from their Shared With Me section.
• You cannot be removed from individual questions if they are shared as part of a larger item (e.g., a Test or Question Bank).
• Removing sharing from a question or test removes it from any content the user added it to, except for Ready, In Progress, or Complete exams, which are unaffected.
