Installing WorkSpace - Windows 7/8
To install the WorkSpace software, please do the following.- Download the latest version of WorkSpace for Windows from the Turning Technologies WorkSpace downloads page.
- Run the WorkSpace installer (some installs may require administrator access to complete installation).
- Restart the computer.
- Plug in a Mobi or WhiteBoard and power it on. If using a Mobi, you can now start using WorkSpace. If using a WhiteBoard, please continue the steps below.
- If using a SchoolBoard, DualBoard or TouchBoard (Plus), please continue with the calibration of the board. When connected and detected by the Device Manager software, a prompt may appear asking to start the calibration process.
- Make sure the projector is connected to the computer and is set as the primary monitor (either duplicated or extended).
- Make sure the displayed image is within the active (white) area of the board and does not fall onto the frame of the board.
- Make sure the displayed image is square with no keystone or trapezoidal distortion of the image. If you are unable to get the image square, the projector mounting may need to be adjusted.
- If using a SchoolBoard or DualBoard, make sure the pens have been charged for at least four hours before attempting to calibrate/use the board.
- For the calibration of a TouchBoard, use the included passive pens and do not use your finger, this allows for the most accurate calibration.
- Follow the calibration process, touching the pen to the center of the targets as they appear on the screen.
- If the calibration does not come up automatically please do the following:
- Click the caret (in the lower-right of the desktop near the clock).
- Click Turning Technologies Tools (the yellow circle with a black arrow).
- Right-click on the board and select calibrate.
Installing WorkSpace - Windows 10
The directions below apply specifically to Windows 10. If you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8, please follow those directions.
To install the WorkSpace software please do the following.
- Download the latest version of WorkSpace for Windows from the Turning Technologies WorkSpace downloads page here.
- Run WorkSpace installer (some installs may require administrator access to complete installation).
- Restart the computer.
- Plug in a Mobi or Whiteboard and power it on. If using a Mobi, you can now start using WorkSpace. If using a WhiteBoard, please continue the steps below.
- If using a SchoolBoard, DualBoard or TouchBoard (Plus), continue with the calibration of the board. When connected and detected by the Device Manager software, a prompt may appear asking to start the calibration process, cancel this calibration as the Device Manager calibration is not used under windows 10. Please make sure the following conditions are met before trying to calibrate your board or the calibration will not work properly.
- Make sure the projector is connected to the computer and set as a primary monitor (either duplicated or extended) and that the projector is also powered on.
- Make sure the displayed image is within the active (white) area of the board and does not spill onto the frame of the board.
- Make sure the displayed image is square with now keystone or trapezoidal distortion of the image. If you are unable to get the image square, the projector mount may need to be adjusted.
- If using a SchoolBoard or DualBoard, make sure the pens have been charged for at least four hours before attempting to calibrate/use the board.

- If the Device manager is not open, open it now.
- Click on the caret (in the lower-right of the desktop near the clock).
- Click on Turning Technologies Tools (the yellow circle with the black arrow).
- Select Device Manager.
- To start the Windows calibration of the board from Device Manger
- Right-click on the board.
- Select Tablet Settings.
- Under the display options, make sure the projector is selected in the drop-down menu.
- Click calibrate.
- Follow the onscreen process, touching the pen to the center of each target as it displays on the screen.
