The Habitat interface allows administrators and Habitat users to create new user accounts. It also allows administrators to approve requests initiated by users.
User administrators can create these user types:
- Habitat users who have access to Habitat and the Inkling library.
- Users who have access only to one or more libraries.
Project administrators and users can only initiate requests to create Habitat users, which must be approved by a user administrator. The table shows the account type that a particular user can create.

The articles in this section provide more detail about each registration method. The images in each page also show that the links available on the top bar of the dashboard vary. Depending on the permissions set for an individual user administrator, the Modules or People link might appear or not.
You cannot deactivate or delete a user using the interface.
