Live Review activities in GoReact let reviewers give real-time feedback while a participant is live recording their video, so input can happen as the action unfolds or after it finishes. They allows instructors, peers, or reviewers to join the live stream and leave time-stamped feedback. This makes Live Review ideal for synchronous presentations, performances, or practice sessions where immediate critique is valuable. Afterward, students still have access to the recorded video with all the live feedback included.
- You must be logged in to GoReact, created an activity, and toggled on the New Activity View.
-
Select the activity, then click Activity Preview, as shown in the figure below.
- Click EDIT TASKS, as shown in the figure above.
- Optionally, add + Task Instructions.
-
Select the Live Review box, as shown in the figure below.
- Click SAVE & CLOSE.
- Switch back to Instructor Overview.
Then, any reviewers (including peers, if enabled) may simultaneously give real-time feedback on live recordings.
With this option enabled:
- Feedback can be provided during the recording and after the fact.
-
Owners may create Awaiting Start placeholders for each participant by clicking CREATE VIDEOS.
Clicking CREATE VIDEOS will only create placeholders for currently enrolled participants. Wait to click this button until all of your participants have joined the course. If you have already clicked this button, you can still create new placeholders one by one, or you can reset them altogether by deleting all of the previous placeholders.
