Removing media removes it from the session, but the session itself remains in your folder. When media is removed, any associated analytics, questions, notes, bookmarks, and confusion flags are also removed. This information is not recoverable. If you want to retain this data but not allow students to view the media, consider making it unavailable instead.
- Navigate to the Sessions tab of a folder.

Find the session whose availability you want to change and click Media (or the media type), as shown in the figure below.

Select Remove Media, as shown in the figure above.
A confirmation message appears, warning you that all references to this content in analytics, questions, notes, bookmarks, and confusion flags will also be removed the content if you remove the media.

Click OK.
The content is removed from the session but remains in your Library. Otherwise, click Cancel to return to the class list.
