Some questions may be image-based or contain vague prompt text. Instructors can assign these questions a title or name, making identifying them easier.
To rename a question, you must be logged in to your EchoExam account.
From a Test
- From the My Library tab, select Test from the menu.
- Open the vertical action menu of the test with the question you want to edit and select Edit.
The test opens.
- Alternatively, double-click the test.
- Find the question to rename, click the vertical action menu, and choose Rename, as shown in the figure below.
The Rename Question modal opens.
- Enter a name or title, up to 125 characters, to make it easier to identify.
- Click Save.
The question is renamed everywhere.
From the Questions tab
- From the My Library tab, select Questions from the menu.
- Open the vertical action menu of the question you want to edit and select Rename, as shown in the figure below.

From a Question Bank
- From the My Library tab, select Question Banks from the menu.
- Open the vertical action menu of the question bank with the question you want to edit and select Edit.
The question bank opens.
- Alternatively, double-click the question bank.
- Open the vertical action menu of the bank with the question you want to edit and select Edit, as shown in the figure below.
The Rename Question modal opens.
- Enter a name or title, up to 125 characters, to make it easier to identify.
- Click Save.
The question is renamed everywhere.
