Creating a Question From the Question Library or Within a Question Bank

1. From the My Library tab, select Questions or Question Banks.
   

   If you select Question Banks, open the Question Bank in which you want to add a question.

2. Click the New Question button.
3. From the New Question Template window, select the type of question you want to create (e.g., multiple choice or short answer).
4. Enter the question text and answer option(s).
5. Use formatting tools as needed.
6. Optionally, lock answer positions, set point values, and choose display options (such as columns for answer choices).
7. If desired, configure additional settings, such as allowing calculator use, setting character limits, or adding multimedia resources.
8. Optionally, enter feedback or rationale for each answer option.
9. Preview the question on different devices and make adjustments as needed.
10. When finished, click Save.
    

    The question is added to your Question Bank and / or Questions library so you can use it in additional tests.

Creating a Question in an Existing Test

1. From the My Library tab, select Tests.
2. Click the three vertical dots to open the action menu on the test you want to add a question to.
3. Select Edit.
4. Click the Add Question button.
5. From the New Question Template window, select the type of question you want to create (e.g., multiple choice or short answer).
6. Enter the question text and answer option(s).
7. Use formatting tools as needed.
8. Optionally, lock answer positions, set point values, and choose display options (such as columns for answer choices).
9. If desired, configure additional settings, such as allowing calculator use, setting character limits, or adding multimedia resources.
10. When finished, click Save.
    

    The question is added to your test and saved in your Question library so you can use it in additional tests.
