UserWay is integrated into EchoExam to provide learners with customizable accessibility options. Accessible via the widget on the right side of the learner dashboard, features include but are not limited to:
- Contrast Adjustments - Options like Invert Colors, Dark Contrast, and Light Contrast enhance visual accessibility.
- Text Modifications - Tools such as Bigger Text, Text Spacing adjustments, and Dyslexia Friendly fonts improve readability.
- Cursor Enhancements - Features like Big Cursor and Reading Guide assist in navigation and focus.
- Additional Tools - Options like Highlight Links, Hide Images, and Pause Animations cater to various accessibility needs.
EchoExam allows administrators to tailor exam settings to accommodate individual learner requirements:
- Additional Exam Time - Admins can assign extra time to learners who need it, with options like None or Time and a Half.
- Accessibility Settings - Adjustments such as enabling time limits and configuring print settings are available to support diverse learner needs.
EchoExam is focused on improving accessibility throughout the exam creation and delivery process.
- Availability Window - The availability window is configured in the exam settings within the course (Start and Due dates). It defines the earliest date and time a learner can begin an attempt and / or the latest date and time that the learner can submit an attempt.
- Secure Exam Delivery - Creating an exam using Browser Lock ensures learners cannot access other applications or browser tabs during an exam, maintaining focus and integrity.
