Epiphan Device Options control which recording profiles and front panel features are available across your institution. These settings apply to all registered Epiphan devices.
Each option works independently. Turning one setting on or off does not automatically change the others.
- Log in as an administrator.
- Click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
From the Settings menu, select Institution Settings.
General settings appear and Basic Info is selected by default.
- Click Configurations.
From the middle pane, select Epiphan Devices.
Epiphan Device Configuration displays.
Click Settings, as shown in the figure below.
- Toggle the desired Recording Profile Options on or off for your institution.
Recording Profile Option Descriptions
- Additional Profiles
- Enable creating additional profiles for your Epiphan devices beyond the defaults.
- Custom Profiles
- Enable creating a custom profile that you can select and configure when scheduling or initiating ad hoc captures.
- Ad Hoc Recordings
- Enable creating a custom profile for ad hoc recordings.
- Scheduled Recordings
- Enable creating a custom profile for scheduled captures.
- Front Panel Confirmation
- Require confirmation before an ad hoc recording starts from the front panel of an Epiphan device.
