The Home page is your main hub and starting point in the EchoVideo mobile app. From here, you can easily create new content or share existing media with others. You will also find quick access to continue viewing videos, so you can pick up right where you left off without any trouble. Plus, it’s simple to find recordings you might have missed, helping you stay up to date. The Home page also gives you direct access to your notifications and account settings, so you can manage your app experience all in one place.

Designed to help you work efficiently, the Home page lets you jump right back into your work or learning activities. Instead of spending time digging through your content library, you can get straight to the materials you need, making your workflow smoother and boosting productivity.

Notifications

In-app notifications are available only to users with Administrator and / or Instructor roles.

EchoVideo provides in-app notifications, customizable to the things that matter most to you. The Notification icon appears in the upper-right corner of your mobile app's Home page.

Notifications are customized by each user from the Account Settings page. Furthermore, because in-app notifications are individual user-based, they will not change or override any email notifications your organization has in place; they appear in addition to email notifications.

To View Notifications

1. Log in to the mobile app.
2. Click Notifications in the upper-right corner of the screen, as identified in the image below.

3. Scroll to browse New notifications that you have configured, and optionally take the following actions:

   • Click a notification to go directly to the related media.
   • Click the vertical action menu to Mark all read.
   • Swipe left to delete the notification.
   • Swipe right to mark the notification as unread.

   

4. Optionally, switch to Read notifications.
5. Scroll to browse Read notifications that you have configured, and optionally take the following actions:
   • Click a notification to go directly to the related media.
   • Click the vertical action menu to Mark all read.
   • Swipe left to delete the notification.
   • Swipe right to mark the notification as unread.

User Menu

The User Menu in the EchoVideo mobile app provides a central location to manage your personal account information, content, application preferences, uploads and downloads, and support resources. From this menu, you can log out, update your profile, adjust playback and accessibility settings, review media you own or can access, monitor upload and download activity, and quickly access help and institutional resources.

It is important to note that the specific options available to you on this screen may vary depending on your user role within the system and the features and permissions enabled by your institution.

Watch

Watch lets you quickly access the content most relevant to you. Browse Sessions to view upcoming, available, and previously attended class recordings, or select Shared to access media that has been shared with you. Select View All in the Sessions section to open the Curriculum page, where you can browse all available classes and recordings.

Create

Create lets you capture and upload new content to your EchoVideo library. Record audio, video, or your screen, upload media from your device, or, if available, start an ad hoc recording on a compatible EchoVideo capture device. The options available depend on your role and your institution's permissions.

Share

You can share content directly with EchoVideo users, allowing them to access it easily within the platform. Alternatively, you can use your device's built-in sharing features to share content across apps and services. This flexibility ensures that you can share the video in the way that best suits your needs and preferences. 

Continue

Continue presents a list of content you have recently viewed or accessed, allowing you to easily resume your activity without searching for it again. By tapping on any item in this list, you can immediately continue viewing that specific content from where you last left off. You can navigate through the available content by swiping horizontally, allowing you to easily browse through different media. Additionally, a highlighted indicator shows your current position in the list, helping you keep track of where you are as you scroll through the content.

Missed

Missed displays recent recordings of classes or upcoming scheduled content that you have not yet viewed. If you want to see the full collection of missed content, select View All to open a comprehensive list. You can navigate through the available content by swiping horizontally, allowing you to easily browse through different recordings or scheduled sessions. Additionally, a highlighted indicator shows your current position in the list, helping you keep track of where you are as you scroll through the content.

Navigation Menu

Use the bottom navigation bar to move between the primary areas of the app: 

• Home - Return to the Home page to access your recent activity and quick actions.
• Create - Open the Create page to record, upload, or capture new content.
• Curriculum - Open the Curriculum page to access Current and Past Terms that you are enrolled in.
• Help - Open Help to access product documentation, support resources, and contact options.
