EchoVideo: Editing Study Aids

Study Aids in EchoVideo, including Summaries, FAQs, Study Cards, and Practice Quizzes, are dynamic resources that can be refined to better meet your instructional goals. Whether content was generated automatically by AskEcho or created manually, you can edit, expand, or remove items at any time to ensure accuracy and pedagogical alignment.

All editing and management of these resources occur within the Study Aids tab on the Media Details Page.

Edit Study Aid Content

To begin editing, navigate to the Media Details Page for your media and select the Study Aids tab. From here, you can navigate between the sub-tabs for each resource type.

Summary

  1. Choose Summary, as identified in the image below.The Summary tab of Study Aids in Media Details and the Save button identified as described
  2. Review the Summary.
  3. Use the Rich Text Editor to edit and / or format the summary.
  4. Click Save, as shown in the image above.

FAQs

  1. Choose FAQs, as identified in the image below. The FAQs tab of Study Aids in Media Details identified as described
  2. Click the caret to expand an FAQ.
  3. Optionally, click Expand All to expand all FAQs.
  4. Edit the question and / or the answer.
  5. Optionally, click Delete to remove the question. Review the warning carefully, type DELETE to confirm, and click Delete.
  6. Click Add Another to add an additional FAQ.

Study Cards

  1. Choose Study Cards, as identified in the figure below. The Study Cards tab of Study Aids in Media Details identified as described
  2. Click the caret to expand a Study Card.
  3. Optionally, click Expand All to expand all Study Cards.
  4. Edit the question and / or the answer.
  5. Optionally, click Delete to remove the question. Review the warning carefully, type DELETE to confirm, and click Delete.
  6. Click Add Another to add an additional Study Card.
  7. Click Save, as identified in the image below. The Study Cards tab of Study Aids in Media Details with the Save button identified as described

Practice Quiz

  1. Choose Practice Quiz, as identified in the figure below. The Practice Quiz tab of Study Aids in Media Details identified as described
  2. For each Practice Quiz question, click the caret to expand it.
  3. Optionally, click Expand All to expand the Practice Quiz questions.
  4. Edit the question and / or the answer.
  5. Optionally, change the correct answer.
  6. Optionally, click Delete to remove the question. Review the warning carefully, type DELETE to confirm, and click Delete.
  7. Click Add Another to add an additional Practice Quiz question.
  8. Click Save, as identified in the image below. The Practice Quiz tab of Study Aids in Media Details with the Save button identified as described

Advanced Editing Features

Undo Changes

If you have made edits to an FAQ or Study Card item but have not yet saved them, you can use the Undo button. Clicking Undo resets the specific item's fields to their last saved state. This button is only active when unsaved changes are detected.

Delete Content

You can remove Study Aid content in two ways, depending on whether you want to remove a single item or an entire section.

  • Individual Deletion: Click the Delete icon (trash can) next to any specific FAQ, Study Card, or Quiz question. This removes only that specific item.
  • Bulk Deletion (Clear All): To remove all content within a specific sub-tab (e.g., all FAQs), you can use the respective Delete option.

Regenerate Content

If you wish to start over with AI-generated content, you can click the Generate button again.

  • Warning Modal: If content already exists in that section, a warning modal will appear.
  • Overwriting: Confirming the action will overwrite all existing content in that specific sub-tab with a fresh version from AskEcho. This action cannot be undone.
