Features

Institutional Level Custom Dictionaries

We are excited to announce the availability of Institutional-level custom dictionaries for use with our ASR service. This allows customers to use their own custom dictionary for the ASR service to transcribe their content, ensuring transcripts are even more accurate than they currently are and enabling them to define regionalized words or specific terminology that is not widely used.

Improvements

Updated Microsoft Integration

To improve administrative discoverability and technical reliability, we relocated Microsoft Teams settings to a dedicated configuration tab and modernized the backend with Microsoft Graph APIs.

Enhanced Quiz Experience

We are focused on making interactive learning more seamless by improving the functional reliability and completion experience of AskEcho Quizzes. As a result of customer feedback, we modified AskEcho-generated quizzes to ensure they adhere to stricter randomization of answer sequencing.

Accessibility Updates

To ensure screen reader users can navigate with confidence, we updated custom switch controls across the Media Details page to provide proper textual names, roles, and state information.

Fixes

  • Moodle 5.2 TinyMCE plugin Compatibility: To ensure seamless integration with the latest LMS updates, we updated the TinyMCE plugin to maintain full compatibility with Moodle 5.2.
  • Browser Capture Button Visibility: To improve usability on small screens, we adjusted the flex layout so that action buttons such as Start another recording and Download are fully visible without overlap.
  • Scheduling Modal Navigation: To restore efficient administrative workflows, we fixed the keyboard focus trap in the scheduling modal so that the Tab key correctly navigates through modal fields instead of the background UI.
  • Library Sync for Browser Captures: To ensure content is immediately accessible, we fixed a synchronization issue so that browser captures now appear in the Library as soon as the upload completes.
