LTI 1.1 integrations between EchoVideo and Canvas use a Consumer Key and Shared Secret to securely authenticate communication between the two platforms. In some cases, administrators may need to rotate these credentials as part of routine security maintenance, compliance requirements, administrative changes, or to address a suspected credential exposure. Because regenerating credentials in EchoVideo immediately invalidates the existing values, administrators should be prepared to update the Canvas configuration immediately to avoid interruptions in access to EchoVideo content and tools within Canvas.
Regenerating the LTI 1.1 key and secret in EchoVideo immediately invalidates the existing credentials. To avoid disruption for instructors and students, update the Canvas configuration as soon as the new credentials are generated.
