Improvements
This release marks a major milestone in our accessibility journey! We have delivered a comprehensive set of improvements across PointSolutions Desktop (Windows and Mac), focusing on WCAG 2.2 AA compliance. From keyboard navigation and screen reader support to color contrast and font scaling, these updates make our platform more inclusive and user-friendly for everyone.
Major Accessibility Remediation for PointSolutions Desktop
We tackled critical accessibility gaps across both Windows and Mac platforms, ensuring all users can navigate, interact, and succeed with PointSolutions - no matter their abilities or assistive technology.
Font Size Scaling & Text Resizing
We made sure that text and UI elements scale cleanly up to 200% - no more cut-off labels or unreadable screens when you adjust your system’s display settings.
Accessible Authentication & Account Management
We improved the login and account management experience, making it easier for everyone to sign in and recover passwords - especially with assistive tech.
Toolbar & Menu Accessibility
Menus and toolbars are now fully accessible, with correct roles, names, and keyboard navigation -making it easier for screen reader users to manage rosters and settings.

PointSolutions Desktop (Windows) Specific Note
When we update the security certificate on the PointSolutions Windows installer, some users may see a Windows SmartScreen message the first time they run the new version. In this case, Don’t run will appear as the default option. See PointSolutions Desktop: Windows and Antivirus Software for more information.
This is expected behavior with certificate updates and does not indicate a problem with the installer. To proceed with installation:
- Click More info on the SmartScreen dialog.
- Select Run anyway to launch the PointSolutions installer.
Once the installer has been run after a certificate update, this prompt should no longer appear for that version on your device. This prompt is expected during certificate updates, and the installer remains properly signed and verified by Echo360.
