Latest Module Version
The table lists summary version and release date information of the EchoInk widget modules at the time of this Inkdoc’s publication. For questions about the latest module versions, contact your EchoInk representative.
The Assessment widget module version installed in a project determines how your Habitat authors can enable users to retake a quiz. We recommend upgrading all organizations’ projects that use this widget to at least the Assessment module version 2.0.7 for easier maintenance. See Use the Assessment widget > Reset an assessment in the EchoInk Authoring Guide.
Upgrade the Widget Modules in a Project
- Because upgrading a large number of projects with an updated widget module may take time, leave the browser window open to help ensure the upgrade completes successfully for all selected projects.
- Let the process completely finish before performing another widget module install or uninstall.
- Verify the functionality of an upgraded module across a few test projects before releasing it to your Habitat authors.
- Contact your EchoInk representative if you encounter any issues with the updated widget modules.
On the Habitat dashboard, click Modules.
The module dashboard appears.
- Enter the widget module name that you want to upgrade in Search, such as flashcard.
Click the widget module to access the module detail window.
This window displays all versions of the module in the library, organized into separate sections. Each section provides release note information for the specific module version and also shows all projects that have the module installed.
- Click Install or Uninstall on the latest version of the widget module to access the module installation window.
- Click the Project Name or Shortname column to sort the projects.
Confirm that there are projects with a version number in the Version column before continuing with this procedure. You must select projects that have an earlier version of the widget module that you want to upgrade.
If previous versions of the widget module do not appear in the Version column, this can indicate that your organization has legacy projects. See Use modules with legacy projects.
Select the appropriate project or projects.
The Install button turns blue and shows the number of selected projects—for example, Install in 2 projects.
- Click Install.
- Let the process completely finish.
A Success message displays when EchoInk successfully installs the module. Click OK to dismiss the message.
