Use the New Module Upload interface to add new and updated modules to your organization’s library on the Inkling platform. You can then associate the modules with your organization’s Habitat projects.
Before you upload a module, verify that it has a unique name and version combination in its module.json file. The upload fails when the module name and version combination already exists, or when the module.json file is missing or malformed.
Click Add New Module on the module dashboard to access the New Module Upload interface.
The upload interface displays an editable confirmation page before Inkling completes the module upload. The window shows the module version number, contents, and any errors or warnings.
Click the pencil icon to include release notes about this version of the module.
Notes are visible to other users of the Module Management Interface, but not users working within a Habitat project.
Use the back button in your browser to exit this page without uploading.
Click Upload to complete the upload process.
Habitat processes the module upload and displays a confirmation window.
Let the process completely finish before uploading another module.
- Click Finish.
Habitat refreshes the view and displays the new or updated module in the interface. You can now add the module to Habitat projects.
