Accepting / Rejecting the Form
After a user has read the consent form, they can accept or reject the form by clicking on the respective buttons at the bottom of the form. Accepting and rejecting the form will have the following effects on the user experience
Accept: The user will be able to affirm tracking, and product usage tracking will remain enabled. The end-user login will not be interrupted again unless the form is updated and reversioned. The User can withdraw consent at any time via profile icon > Privacy Settings
Reject: All product usage tracking will be disabled; however, Inkling will not disable required activities specifically performed by end users, such as assessment submissions and Learning Pathway course completions.
User Privacy Settings
An end user may withdraw their consent at any time by navigating to the profile icon > Privacy Settings, which will provide the end user with access to the consent form. At the bottom of the form, the end user can view/confirm her original selection and choose Accept, Reject, or cancel out of the page. (Only where there is already a tracked response for the user, will the Cancel (X) option be available.)
This new response will also be recorded with a date and time stamp (UTC).
Reporting (For Administrators)
Reporting will be available via Inkling Tableau. The following information will be available. NOTE: New submissions will not overwrite older responses.
- UserID
- (Optionally, any other user information can be available)
- Form ID (if text is re-versioned, this ID will change)
