With Inkling Knowledge, learners can access content in the Library and search and reference it at any time. All content lives on the learner's Library tab.
With Inkling Learning Pathways, learners are assigned courses and / or curriculum to complete for required training. All courses / curriculum live on the learner's Training tab.
Learning Pathways Courses are comprised of steps, which guide the learner through the course. These steps can be completed sequentially or in any order, depending on the course settings. Courses can be assigned individually, or multiple courses can be grouped into a Curriculum.
When creating a step, authors can also assign an estimated completion time to help learners understand how long it may take to complete.
Courses can include the following steps:
- Inkdoc Step - Link to a specific Inkdoc or page. Inkdoc steps can also be used to assign content that contains embedded quizzes. For example, you can place a quiz on a page or chapter in Habitat, then create a Learning Pathways step that links directly to that Inkdoc page and assign the Learning Path as usual.
- External Link Step - Link an external URL.
- Activity Step - Create an Activity that the user must access and mark complete. You can also require an additional sign-off for this step.
SCORM Step - Upload standards-based content in SCORM, AICC, xAPI, or CMI5 format. The maximum upload file size is 1000 MB. To integrate SCORM content, create a new SCORM step in Learning Pathways and upload your SCORM package. When launched, the SCORM package displays in a separate window for the learner.
Note: This option is only available with Inkling Learning Pathways Plus.
Review and verify course completions with trainer sign-off functionality.
