If you have an Inkdoc where you would like to collect and review end-user feedback, use the Feedback feature. If you do not already have this, your EchoInk representative can turn it on for you. You can find more information about the Content Feedback feature in the Inkling Administrator Guide.
Understand Feedback
When reviewing feedback, keep in mind:
- You must have Admin permissions on a Habitat project to view and process any feedback.
- Every Admin on the project receives an email notification when feedback is submitted, unless they have disabled email notifications for that project.
- User feedback is private and not preserved for the end user, nor can they see any feedback submitted by other end users.
View Feedback on a Project
Click Feedback from the project navigation bar to access the Feedback Dashboard.
Understand Feedback Statuses
Feedback statuses appear on each piece of feedback on the dashboard via the status dropdown. These statuses show a title and a color code for the feedback status.
Statuses

| Blue | New | Initial status upon feedback creation. |
| Yellow-Green | Reopened | Feedback that has been initially closed but reopened for further resolution. |
| Green | In Progress | Feedback that is currently being worked on. |
| Orange | On Hold | Feedback that is awaiting further resolution. |
| Grey | Fixed | Feedback that is fixed but not yet ready to be resolved. |
| Blue | Resolved | Feedback that is resolved; will send the submitting user a notification. |
| Black | Not Resolved | Feedback that will not be resolved; will not send the submitting user a notification. |
End User Notifications
When feedback is closed with the status Resolved, a notification will be sent to the end user who submitted the feedback to let them know their submission was addressed. These notifications can be viewed on the Notifications home tab in the end-user environment.
Currently, a notification is sent only to the original feedback submitter when the feedback is set to the Resolved status. The submitting user is not alerted to any other changes in status for their feedback.
