Restoring an archived Inkdoc only allows team members to view it on their dashboards. The restore process does not automatically revert the Inkdoc to its pre-archived state.
You must manually do these related tasks:
- Restore the Audience so users can access the Inkdoc.
- Add team members to the Inkdoc.
- Restore any Embed instances that were removed.
In the Google Chrome address bar, enter the URL of the archived Inkdoc, for example:
habitat.inkling.com/project/shortname
The Inkdoc displays an orange service message banner indicating that it is archived and can be restored.
Click the Restore Project link in the service message banner to access the Project Setup page.
Click the Restore Project button at the bottom of the Project Setup page.
Click Restore on the confirmation message.
- The Restore Project button changes to the Archive Project button.
- Habitat restores the Inkdoc to your dashboard and to the dashboards of all team members listed in the Team Member window.
- Add any team members who need access to the restored Inkdoc.
Grant access to all Inkling users who need access to the Inkdoc.
