Archiving an Inkdoc removes it from team members’ dashboard views and clears any active Audience distribution for the Inkdoc.
You must manually do these related tasks:
- Remove team members from the Inkdoc.
- Disable any Embed instances by removing the embed code from all applicable websites and applications.
Click Configure Project > Project Setup > Project Info.
Record the project’s short name.
You must have the Inkdoc shortname to restore a Inkdoc.
Before you archive an Inkdoc, record its shortname and keep at least one team member with Admin permissions on it in case you need to restore it.
Contact EchoInk Support if you need help with archiving or restoring an Inkdoc.
Optionally, click Manage Team Members in the top bar, then delete team members from Inkdoc.
TIP Be sure to keep at least one member with Admin permissions so they can restore the project if necessary.
- Click Archive Project at the bottom of the navigation sidebar.
Click Archive Anyway on the confirmation message.
An orange service message banner briefly appears, indicating that Habitat has archived the Inkdoc,
The archived project will no longer display in Document Audience.
