You can review page activity and versions, and revert to previous versions of the current page in the Page Activity view.
The table provides descriptions of the different features available from this view.

Review Page Activity
In the Habitat top bar, click Page Activity to see the list of recent revisions. The dropdown list displays the date, time, and author of each revision. A dot appears in the topmost entry of the list, indicating that you are viewing the most recently saved version of this content.
Compare Different Page Versions
- Click Page Activity.
Click Go to Compare Versions at the bottom of the list.
The Review Changes feature provides another way to view your team members’ changes to a specific page over a defined time period. Use both modes, Compare Versions and Review Changes, to determine which review feature best suits your needs.
On the left side of the Compare Versions window, click the revision that you want to return to.
Habitat displays two versions of your content side by side: the earlier version on the left and the current version on the right.
To review the differences between the earlier and current versions, ensure the Show Differences toggle is set to On.
The changes that make the current version different from the earlier version you are comparing it with are displayed in color: red for deletions, green for additions.
- Use the Device Preview dropdown in the upper-right corner to view the content in a simulated device.
- To see other previously saved versions, click an entry in the version list at the far left. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Older Versions to see more versions.
- To see the two versions scroll in tandem, ensure that the Lock Scrolling toggle is set to On.
- When you are ready to return to the current revision, click the X in the upper-left corner of the comparison screen.
Review Previous Edits
You can also view a read-only earlier version of the selected page in Review Edits mode.
- Click Page Activity.
- Select the revision you want to review.
- Click Review Edits.
You can view the earlier version of the selected page. Habitat highlights any changes to the text and images on the page in the Compare Versions view.
Restore an Earlier Page Version
Sometimes you may need to revert to an earlier version of your project. To restore a previous revision:
- Click Page Activity.
- Click Go to Compare Versions at the bottom of the list.
- On the left side of the Compare Versions screen, click the revision you want to restore.
- Click Restore this version.
This restores the earlier version, making it the current version.
