Click a comment to view additional details and functionality. The comment will expand in the sidebar, and the selected comment on the page will be highlighted in a darker color.

Comment Details

You can view and change the status and the assignee values.

If you change a status or assignee value and that value is not selected in the ﬁlter, the comment will disappear from view the next time the page is saved, or the ﬁlter is reapplied. For example, if you close a comment but Close is not a selected ﬁlter value, the comment is not visible until you enable Close in the ﬁlter.

Additional Functionality

Click the pin icon to keep the comment pinned open. The pin color changes from gray to green, and the comment stays open even when you expand other comments.

Click the dropdown icon to access additional functionality. The following table describes the options in the dropdown menu. Features marked (Optional) might or might not be visible to you, depending on your Inkling conﬁguration.

Action	Description
Collapse	Closes the comment detail view.
Show Details	Shows the preview size the reviewer was using when they made the comment. (Optional) Provides a link prefixed with # to view the RedPub issue for the comment. Provides a link prefixed with R to view the Inkdoc version where a user attached or assigned a comment in a new browser tab. Click Back to Current Version to exit this previous version.
Create New Set	(Optional) Enables you to create a set in RedPub that contains related comments.
Add to Set	(Optional) Add a comment to an existing RedPub set. This action displays only when there is at least one comment set already existing in the project.
