With the Multiple Choice widget, you can create either a multiple choice or a multiple answer quiz question. Optionally, you can also provide the following:
- Feedback for the correct and incorrect answers.
- A hint that the user can reveal by selecting Get a hint!
An explanation that the user can reveal by selecting Show Answer.
You can provide hints for both multiple choice and multiple answer quizzes. You can provide explanations only for multiple answer quizzes.
- Drag the Multiple Choice widget from the Add Pattern sidebar to the page.
- Click Edit Widget.
- Click Change Question Type and select either Multiple Choice or Multiple Answer.
- Click to replace the placeholder text with your own question.
- Click the Add Image icon to add an image to your question.
- Click to the right of Hint and type your hint text.
- Click to the right of Explanation and type your explanation text for multiple correct answers.
- For each answer choice, click to replace the placeholder text with your own content.
- Click Add Feedback and enter text as to why the answer is correct or not.
Toggle to select the green checkmark for the correct answer or answers.
The Multiple Choice question type can have only one correct answer, while the Multiple Answer question type can have several correct answers.
- Click Add Choice to add another answer choice to your quiz, up to 8 choices.
- Optionally, check Shuffle Choices in the SETTINGS sidebar to randomly shuffle the choices each time the reader takes the assessment.
- Click Save & Close.
