In a Learning Pathways course, authors can gate steps based on a learner’s assessment results. Learners can only progress to the next step after passing an assessment. Managers and supervisors will then be able to view learners’ assessment scores in field reporting.

- You must upgrade your Habitat projects to the latest version of the Assessment widget and re-publish the project to use this feature.
- This feature works with existing assessments already created with the Assessment widget.
- Assessment Steps support a single assessment per Inkdoc page.
- Assessments used in the course Assessment Steps are automatically set to Retry Until Pass to ensure learners can complete the step.
If you re-assign a course with an Assessment Step to learners, or assign the same assessment to learners in multiple courses, they will be required to take the assessment again, and a new score will be recorded linked to that specific course step. This can be useful for re-assigning training on an annual or monthly basis. You can also reset an assessment for specific learners by re-assigning the course to them.
