EchoInk: Creating an Assessment With Multiple Question Types

Follow these steps to create an assessment with multiple question types.

1. Drag the Assessment widget from the Add Pattern sidebar to the page. 
2. Click Edit Widget.
3. Select a question type from either the Change Question Type or Add Question dropdown menu and complete the answer section. Available question types are:   
   • Multiple Choice or Multiple Answer
   • True/False
   • Drag and Drop
   • Image Hotspot
   • Sequencing
   • Fill in the Blank
4. Click Add Question on the left side to add more questions to the assessment.
   • Assessments can have up to 30 questions.
   • To reorder the questions, click and drag a question to the desired position.
5. Edit the SCORE & SETTINGS page.

6. Optionally, click Add Entry Screen on the left side to create an optional screen that users view before taking the assessment. This screen provides general information and also includes a Get Started button for users to begin the assessment.

   • Enter a Title and Description.
   • The Preview section displays the total number of questions tested in the assessment.

   

7. Click Save & Close when you finish editing the widget.
8. Click Previewing to test the assessment.
