This article describes common issues and error messages that authors may have when creating content.

You are not a member on your organization’s project templates. For security reasons, Inkling Support cannot grant users access to templates and projects, but can provide the names of your organization’s administrators. |

| Want to customize a pattern. For example: Change a button color. | As part of the Inkling implementation process, we work with your company to develop a set of standard templates and patterns used throughout your Inkling organization. | You used a template to create a project, then decided you want to use another template for the project. |
Once you create a project from a template you cannot change the underlying template. You need to create a new project with the desired template and copy the content from the existing project into the new project. Contact your Inking representative for help with migrating large amounts of content from an existing project to a new project and template. He or she can recommend possible options and third-party service providers to help complete this task. |

Need to import large tables or many tables of data. |

| Font or pattern style looks different in editor mode versus preview mode. | Your module administrator may have updated the style and pattern modules associated with the project. He or she should have also updated the patterns available in the Add Pattern panels. Drag in an updated pattern and see if that resolves the style issue. If not, contact the module administrator. |

| Character with a diacritical mark appears as its HTML entity instead of the character. For example: Ibérica instead of Ibérica | Certain areas of Habitat authoring environment may display a character’s HTML entity code. This is normal behavior. The correct character displays in the output. | -- |
| Images seem to display at the incorrect resolution in Habitat. |
Publish or export the project and check the images. Images inside the Habitat authoring environment are downsampled in resolution to decrease page load times within the editor. The images display at the correct resolution when you view them in the final published content. If the images display incorrectly in the exported content, contact Inkling Support. |

| Want to copy content between projects. |
As long as both projects are using the same template, you should be able to copy and paste the content from one to another. You can use the keyboard shortcut CTRL+A (Windows) or CMD+A (Mac) to select all the content on the page. You cannot copy most of the following elements, regardless of template: images, audio files, videos, and widgets. |
