Activate AskEcho to enhance your content creation process directly from the Media Details Page. With AskEcho enabled, you can effortlessly generate a Title, Description, Tags, Summary, Chapters, FAQs, and Study Cards for your media. AskEcho leverages advanced AI capabilities to streamline your workflow, ensuring your content is engaging, well-organized, and optimized for discovery. Once an admin at the institutional level turns on chaptering, instructors can choose whether to add it to their videos.
To turn on AskEcho: Chaptering and Metadata
- Log in to EchoVideo as an administrator.
- Click the Settings icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.

From the Settings menu, select Institution Settings.
General settings appear, and Basic Info is selected by default.
- Click Features from the middle panel.
- Turn on the toggle for AskEcho: Chaptering & Metadata, it is off by default, as shown in the figure below.
- Review the warning message and click Confirm.
AskEcho: Chaptering and Metadata is now on and available as an option for any content that has a transcript.
