Features
Zoom: Deletion of Recordings From Zoom After Successful Import to EchoVideo
We’re excited to introduce a new automation option for Zoom users! EchoVideo now supports automatic deletion of Zoom recordings from your Zoom account after they’ve been successfully uploaded to your EchoVideo Library.
This feature helps streamline your video management workflow and reduce storage clutter in Zoom. Once enabled, recordings are securely transferred to EchoVideo and then automatically removed from Zoom — eliminating the need for manual cleanup.
Note: This setting is managed by your EchoVideo administrator. If you’d like to enable it, please contact your admin team.
Improvements
Accessibility Compliance Update
As part of our ongoing commitment to accessibility, this release of EchoVideo includes continued enhancements toward full compliance with ADA Title II requirements. We are committed to ensuring full compliance at the earliest available opportunity, providing customers with ample time to test, validate, and prepare their environments ahead of the 2026 enforcement deadline. By addressing accessibility early, customers can confidently ensure that their EchoVideo experience is inclusive, compliant, and ready for upcoming regulatory standards.
Universal Capture Updates
We have updated Universal Capture to support UserPilot and performed maintenance updates to the underlying infrastructure. The latest version number is 6.0.861612396.
Additional Improvements
We have updated our Rev AI configuration to reflect an important limitation: Rev AI does not support Audio Descriptions, which are required under ADA Title II and WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards.
If you plan to create new integrations using Rev AI, please be aware that Audio Descriptions will not be available through this service. This update ensures transparency and helps teams make informed decisions when selecting transcription and accessibility tools. We have updated the SDK to include the latest API enhancements, ensuring customers can continue to take advantage of our enhanced feature set.
Note: Audio Descriptions are distinct from captions and transcripts—they provide spoken narration of visual elements for users who are blind or have low vision.
For accessibility-compliant workflows, we recommend evaluating alternative solutions that support Audio Descriptions.
