The AI Assistant in GoReact, available with the Advanced package, helps instructors deliver automated, targeted feedback based on video submissions. This guide walks you through enabling and configuring AI Markers within an activity, including selecting the appropriate language and discipline-specific markers. Once set up, the AI Assistant automatically analyzes submitted videos and provides feedback aligned with your selected markers.

While creating or editing an activity, click + AI Assistant.
The AI Assistant modal opens.
- From the Language dropdown in the Transcript section, choose the language that the videos will be recorded in.

Optionally, select Auto to have the AI automatically determine the language.
For World Language learner videos, the transcript accuracy will improve if you choose the language that the learner is attempting to speak in.
- In the AI Markers & Feedback section, choose a Marker set or sets from the Primary Use dropdown.

Choose up to 10 AI Markers from Identify Strengths, Identify Areas of Improvement, and / or Identify General Feedback.
- When configured, click SAVE & CLOSE, as shown in the figure above.
Once a video is posted to the Activity, the AI Assistant will run automatically and appear in the feedback panel when you click on a submitted video. The AI Assistant will provide feedback based on the markers you selected.
You can always edit your Activity later and adjust your AI Assistant Marker selections. Doing this will delete any existing AI Assistant Marker Comments and apply your newly selected markers to all videos in the Activity.
