Note
With our new GoReact dashboard, there is some new terminology. Note that Folder / Course, Activity / Assignment, Owner / Instructor, and Participant / Presenter are now interchangeable terms.
Activity Types
There are three activity types available on GoReact: Standard, Stimulus, and Comment Only. You can review more in-depth information on each activity type below.
Standard
The Standard activity type is the most commonly used assignment type in GoReact. Without any additional settings, this type of activityallows participants to record or upload a standalone video and submit it for feedback. With additional settings, this activity can be configured to allow live review, group recordings, or participant slides.
Stimulus
Stimulus activities allow participants to record a video response to a selected prompt video (or other media). The recorded response will then be synchronized with the stimulus media, and the media will play side by side. This type is commonly used in interpreting and other language activities, for mock interviews, and other prompt-oriented responses.
Comment Only
Comment Only activities allow participants to evaluate a video without recording their own video response. This activity type is useful when students need to review a presentation / speech, or anytime you want students to watch a video and provide feedback.
