GoReact can send email notifications to help you stay informed about new activities, upcoming due dates, and grades. The notifications you receive depend on your email notification settings.
Important: Some notifications, such as reminders for incomplete activities that are due, are not available to LMS users. Certain activity information, including due dates, is not passed from the LMS to GoReact, so GoReact cannot generate these notifications.
Types of Activity Email Notifications
There are four types of email notifications you can customize.
- When you have unviewed feedback
- When new activities are created
- When incomplete activities are coming due
- When an activity has been scored
By default, users who access GoReact directly through goreact.com are opted in to activity email notifications. Users who access GoReact through an LMS, such as Canvas, Blackboard, or D2L Brightspace, are opted out by default because the LMS may provide its own notifications.
Activity email notifications are sent once daily by default. You can change your notification preferences at any time, regardless of how you access GoReact.

Click your name in the top-right corner of the GoReact dashboard and select Account Settings.

Open Activity From Email Notifications
Activity notification emails include links to the corresponding activities.
If you access GoReact through an LMS, the activity link is controlled by your LMS, not GoReact. Depending on your institution's LMS configuration, the link may not take you directly to the activity. If this occurs, return to your LMS and navigate to the activity from your course.
