The Archive feature functions like a Trash. If you need to store a video long-term and do not want to leave it in the folder/activity where it was submitted, we'd recommend Downloading the Video. 
If a video is archived, it will move to the Archive Folder of the users who are listed as participants on the video.

In certain cases, archiving is not permitted. For example, if your instructor has already left feedback for you, or if the activity is set to Single Recording Attempt (test). If you would like to archive your video but are unable to, you will need to contact the course owner or instructor.

Archive or Restore Content

Next to your Folder, Activity, or Session, right-click or click the ellipses icon and select Archive. 

To restore your video or permanently delete it, click the Archive tab on the left-hand side, and then right-click or click the vertical ellipses to open the action menu, and select Restore or Permanently Delete.
