Instructors can set EchoPoll+ preferences locally, allowing them to tailor the EchoPoll+ experience to their specific needs. This flexibility enhances usability by ensuring that users see and interact with the platform in the best way possible.
- Open EchoPoll+.
Click Preferences as shown in the figure below.
The Preferences modal opens.
- Choose the Data Storage Region from the dropdown:
- North / South America
- Europe / Africa / Middle East
- Australia
- You must sign out to change your region.
Optionally, turn off Default to EchoPoll ribbon tab under Startup Settings. It is turned on by default.
On PowerPoint startup or when opening a presentation, if the Default to EchoPoll ribbon tab is selected, the EchoPoll ribbon tab is automatically activated.
- Optionally, turn off Autocheck for updates under Software Updates. It is turned on by default.
Click Save Settings.
The Preferences modal closes.
Settings persist across PowerPoint sessions.
