Features

Group Questions within a Test

Instructors will have the ability to group their test questions within a test. When grouping is enabled, questions can be grouped together based on their type or by the narrative or case study they are linked to. Grouped questions will always be kept together within an exam or printed test, even when randomize questions is enabled.

Lock Question Order

Instructors can lock any question in position within a test, preventing it from being affected by randomization. Locked questions will always be presented to learners in the same position within an exam or printed test, even when randomize questions is enabled.

Updated Print Output and Options

Print settings are expanded to include additional options and style configurations, including granular settings for padding, fonts, and layout. Individual question type layouts have been updated to maximize the content that prints on each page, ensuring that instructors can print tests while conserving paper.

Disable Question Content Display in Learner Report

Instructors can choose whether question content is displayed on the learner exam report, ensuring that questions are not exposed to learners if there is an exam integrity risk. Instructors have the ability to adjust the question content setting for new, in progress, or completed exams, allowing them to maximize the reusability of their content.

Instructors can choose to allow or prevent learners from downloading their exam report, giving them added flexibility and control. Report download settings can be adjusted for new, in progress, and completed exams, ensuring that instructors can adjust settings to meet their needs.

Instructor Question Report Display Options

Instructors will have access to additional display options in the Questions section of the Exam report, allowing them to use this report for review sessions or during office hours, without the risk of exposing too much information to learners, ensuring that exam integrity and question reusability is maintained.

Question Names

Instructors will have the ability to add names for questions in their library, assisting them with distinguishing similar questions at a glance when using and managing their content. Questions can be renamed as needed to ensure they are clear and identify questions easily.

Faceted Filtering with Question Search

Wherever instructors are accessing a question list, additional filter options will be available, including multi-select filters for question type, linked metadata, and linked narrative or case study. Faceted filters allow instructors to drill down to the specific question or questions that they need, at the time and place they need them.

Administrator Access to View and Edit Organization Details

Organization Administrators will be able to view name, ID, and location details for their organization, and will have the ability to make changes to their organization's name and location.

Improvements

Accessible Move and Reorder Options in Editors

Moving and reordering questions in a test and answer options in a question is now available from the action menu, giving instructors the flexibility to drag-and-drop, move up, move down, or move items to a specific location quickly and easily.

Support for Additional Resources from Publisher Partners

Publishers partnering with EchoExam have the option to include additional supplementary resources as part of a title redemption. Any number of PDF files can be included as part of the title resources.

Fixes

Corrected misaligned card icons appearing with certain chromium versions.
Resolved issue where narratives and questions were not properly linked in test preview.
Implemented additional controls to disable delete action for in progress Browser Lock exams.
Updated export process to prevent timeout on large reports.
Corrected intermittent issue with removing questions from questions banks.
