You may be asked to provide a log when you contact support with an EchoPoll+ issue.
EchoPoll+ Windows stores three separate log files:
- log.TXT - log file for the dashboard and Anywhere Polling
- login.TXT - log file for the Login process
- addinlog.TXT - log file for PowerPoint polling
There is also an archive folder that stores older log files. Every time EchoPoll+ starts, the current log file is moved to the archive folder and appended to a file if it already exists before the new one is created. The older log files follow the same naming conventions but have the date they were moved to the archive folder before the .TXT portion, for example, log.20241024.txt
.
The appended date follows the format YYYYMMDD.
These files and the archive folder can be found at C:\users\{username}\AppData\roaming\EchoPoll
.
Customers who previously used the legacy Dojo360 product may see the logs in Dojo360
instead of EchoPoll
.
In EchoPoll+ version 1.4 and above, you can access live versions of the log files while the software is running by clicking Ctrl + Alt + L and then Ctrl + Alt + W within two seconds of each other.
