These Deployment Notes contain a summary of the changes made to the EchoVideo platform for the June 14-15, 2022 production deployments. For changes made in previous deployments, see the other Release/Deployment Notes articles located here in the online resource center, or contact support@echo360.com.
New and Improved!
Increased Security for Email Changes
To ensure the highest levels of security protocols, if you change your email address associated with your EchoVideo account, you will no longer be able to authenticate on the main log in page of EchoVideo by using a previous email. To log in, you will need to utilize the most updated email that is registered with your EchoVideo account.
Enhanced Zoom Integration Management for Admins
To provide you with greater ability to control your Zoom integration, we’ve added the ability for EchoVideo admins to remove a Zoom configuration from your EchoVideo tenant without first needing to uninstall the EchoVideo app for Zoom from your Zoom account.
Updated EchoVideo Building Block for Blackboard Learn
We’ve released version 1.0.14 of our Blackboard Learn building block which enables more robust search capabilities to our API gateway, allowing us to find data for users who are using our LTI Easy Embed feature.
Reminder of Upcoming API Report Deprecations
Reminding users that Version 1 of both the Polling by User Report and the Question & Answer report are scheduled to be deprecated as of June 30, 2022. This was announced in previous deployment notes, and the online documentation contains callouts to this effect.
