Please be aware that ChromeOS version 136 introduced new features that impact the security of Respondus LockDown Browser on Chromebook devices. Respondus is working directly with Google to resolve these issues.

If you are using managed Chromebooks, do not upgrade to ChromeOS 136 at this time. If you have already updated ChromeOS, you should revert back to ChromeOS 135.

Network administrators for organizations with managed devices can remotely install Respondus for learners. Technical requirements for Respondus are available here.

System administrator installation is supported on managed devices using the .msi package.
