With PointSolutions Desktop, you can set up an offline password. This allows you to be able to utilize offline polling with clickers in case an internet connection is not readily available.

Setting an Offline Password

1. Open PointSolutions and sign in to your account.
   

   The PointSolutions Dashboard opens.

2. Click the Preferences icon (looks like a gear) on the bottom right corner of the Dashboard.
   

   The Preferences window opens.

3. Click Set Password.
   

   A Create Offline Password box opens.

4. Type in a password. The password must meet the following criteria:
   • 8 character minimum
   • 1 uppercase letter
   • 1 lowercase letter
   • 1 number
   • No spaces
5. Retype the password.
6. Click Set.
7. Click Close to close the Preferences window.

Changing the Offline Password

1. Open PointSolutions and sign in to your account.
