EchoPoll+: Run an Anywhere Polling Session with Clickers

Capture responses from participants using Echo360 clickers when delivering a live session with Anywhere Polling in the EchoPoll+ Companion App. Use an RRRF-03 or RRRF-04 receiver to capture RF-LCD and QT2 clicker responses from your learners. Choose exactly how you want your learners to join an in-person live session—with clickers, by mobile, or any combination!

  1. Plug your receiver into the computer you will be using to run your Session..

    Configure your receiver before starting your session. 

  2. Open EchoPoll+ and Sign In to your instructor account.
  3. Click Start Now under Anywhere Floating Toolbar. The EchoPoll Plus window with the Start Now button under Anywhere polling identified as described

    To preview a session, click the Preview Session tab, enter the number of Simulated Participants, and click Start. Run your presentation. Click End to stop the preview.

  4. Click the dropdown under Course Record and select a Course from the list. You can also search for a course.

    If no course is selected, clicker responses must be manually assigned to a particiapant after the session.

    You may also start the session without a course.

  5. The Session Name defaults to the current date/time. You can choose to rename the session.
  6. Choose a Participation Setting from the dropdown. as shown in the figure below. You can choose from Enforce Roster, Entire Organization, Guests (sign-in), Guests (public).
  7. Optionally, choose from one of your saved Join Codes (otherwise, a random code will be provided for you).

  8. Click the Start button.

    Two windows open when you click Start. Participants will enter the code, scan the QR code on their device, or set their clicker to the receiver channel to join the session. You can close this window. If you need to reopen it, at any time, click Options > Join Code on the floating toolbar.

  9. Click Open to start polling a Multiple Choice question with 4 answer choices. You may also click the dropdown to choose a different question type. Anywere Polling Floating toolbar for instructors with polling open identified as described
  10. When all responses have been received, click Close to stop polling. Anywere Polling Floating toolbar for instructors with polling closed identified as described
  11. Repeat Opening and Closing polling for each question being asked. Click END to end your session. In the window that appears, click Yes to end the session.

  12. The floating toolbar is closed and the EchoPoll+ home screen appears.

    Results from the Session are automatically saved to EchoPoll.
