Beta features are new features that are still in the testing phase. Features labeled as Beta may have bugs or issues. Institutions that opt into beta testing are encouraged to contact us to report problems and provide general feedback to help us continue to improve the feature.

Universal Capture Featuring QuadraVision (Beta)
Capture, process, store, and play media from multiple channels (up to 4) with EchoVideo QuadraVision. By enrolling in the QuadraVision beta, instructors will be invited to user test all the features and functionality of our latest QuadraVision capture technology and provide real-time feedback for improvements. Experience a robust yet easy-to-use capture interface that features the most reliable video capture technology on the market, and then publish your videos easily in one or more test courses.
To turn on QuadraVision
- Log into EchoVideo as an Institutional Administrator.
- Click the Settings icon and select Institution Settings.
General settings appears and Basic Info is selected by default.
- Click Beta Features from the middle panel.
- Turn on the Universal Capture featuring QuadraVision (Beta) toggle (turned off by default), as shown in the figure below.
To turn on Universal Capture featuring QuadraVision (Beta), you must turn on the EchoPlayer Consolidated Version with New UI (Opt In / Opt Out).

Review the warning message and click Confirm.
Chaptering
Chapters are like bookmarks that learners can use to quickly navigate to points in a recording. They are a great way to provide context to the content in your media. Once an admin at the institution level turns on chaptering, instructors can choose whether to add it to their videos.
To turn on Chaptering
- Turn on the toggle for Chaptering (Beta), it is off by default, as shown in the figure below.
- Review the warning message and click Confirm.
Chaptering is now on and available as an option for any video with audio or audio-only media assets stored in EchoVideo.
