Chapters are like bookmarks that learners can use to navigate to points in a recording quickly. They are a great way to provide context to the content in your media. EchoVideo allows you to auto-generate chapters on any video with audio or audio-only media assets with transcripts stored in EchoVideo.
Reach out to your institution's Admin team if you would like to have Chaptering turned on.
This feature set offers a comprehensive chapter management system with AI-generated chapters using AskEcho. It also provides tools for manual chapter creation and a user-friendly interface designed for ease of use, even without technical expertise.
You must be logged into EchoVideo, and your media assets must have a transcript for chapters to be auto-generated.

Click the Settings button on the player and then Chapters, as shown in the image below. A list of all of the generated chapters is displayed and you can navigate through the whole media asset.
Once you toggle on chapters in your media asset, the EchoPlayer will show the Chapter navigation components everywhere the media asset is embedded or displayed for all users.
Other Notes and Considerations
