In a multiple choice question, learners can choose a single answer from several possible answer choices. You can create new questions from within an existing or new Poll Deck.
Create a Multiple Choice Question
- In the Enter question text box, type in your question.
Use the Rich Text Editor to edit the question text or add an equation.
If the question requires scrolling, you will see a Back to Top arrow above the Save button.
- In each Enter answer text box, type in an answer choice.
Use the Rich Text Editor to edit the question text or add an equation.
- Use the radio buttons to indicate the correct answer.
If you wish to ask a question without a score or correct answer, deselect the answer choice.
- To add additional answer choices, click + Add Answer Option. To remove answer choices, click the Trashcan icon.
You can click and drag on the dots to reorder your answer choices. You may have up to 10 answer choices. - From the Options tab, you can
- Change the Slide Type of the question.
- Choose which List Style to display for answer choices.

- Optionally, turn on additional Question Settings.
- Anonymize Responses - Ignores the scoring settings of the question and treats all responses as unscored and anonymous.
- First Response Only - Accepts only the first response the learner submits.
- Optionally, turn on Timed Response from Timer Settings.
- Enter a time limit for the question.
The default is 15 seconds and must be entered as MM:SS. The maximum time allowed per question is 99 minutes and 59 seconds.

- Correct - Learners earn the set points for correct answers.
- Incorrect - Learners earn the points set for incorrect answers.
- Show Advanced Scoring allows you to set correct and / or incorrect points values for each question.
- Choose the Results Display.

- Optionally, you can click the Desktop, Tablet Portrait, and Mobile Portrait icons to preview how the question is displayed on different devices.
- Click Preview at any time to view the assignment.
- When finished, click Save.
