The Polling Information Bar
The polling information bar displays at the top of the page when you start your session and is viewable throughout polling.
The following table provides a description for each button on the information bar:
Participants Joined - Indicates the number of users logged in to the session. | |
Direct Session URL - Click on the icon to copy the direct session URL to send out to participants. | |
Responses Received - Indicates the number of responses received during polling. |
Running a Live Polling Session
A content list must be created. Select Content from the top menu and Add Content

Go to https://echo360.com/login/ and Sign In to your account.
The Courses page opens.
- Select your desired course. The course opens on the Content page.

Choose Select on the content card you want to use.
The content details page opens.

Click Start at the top of the page.
The start session preview opens, select Start Session.
NOTEIf you reserved a session ID and selected Default ID, polling will run with the reserved session ID.

Click Show Results to change your account-level setting for this session if desired.
NOTEThe Show Results options can be changed at any time during polling.
- Click the forward button to poll another question.

Repeat until your session is complete.
You will be prompted to name your session.

Rename your session if desired and select End.
The content list overview screen appears.
NOTEClick End Session to end your session before you have reached the end of your content.
Recovering a Session
Recovering a session allows you to resume a polling session that ended earlier than intended. Sessions are kept for 15 minutes to ensure the session is complete.
If a session ended unexpectedly, the Recover Session box will appear on the dashboard.
Click Resume.
Your session will resume.
