Enabling Mobile Response
You will need to enable mobile responses in order for your students to respond with the PointSolutions app.
- Click Connect in the PointSolutions ribbon.
- Select a Session ID.
If you have a session ID reserved and marked as default in your PointSolutions account settings, that is the session ID that will be used. - Select or add a course from the drop-down menu. .
- Check Make this my default course if applicable. Click Start.
- Click Start.
- Click Close.
- To close the mobile response session after polling, click End in the PointSolutions ribbon.
Enabling Clicker Support
- Click Receivers from the PointSolutions ribbon.
- Check Enable Clicker Support.
- Change Receiver channel if desired.
- Communicate channel number to participants.
- Click Close.
Running a Slideshow
A receiver must be plugged in or a mobile response enabled in order to collect responses.
- Start your slide show.
- Advance the slide to open/close polling depending on the Polling Options selected during content creation.
- At the end of the slide show, click Save from the PointSolutions ribbon.
- Rename session if desired.
- Select Finish.
