You must sign in through the PowerPoint ribbon to make the Interactivity features available. Navigate to an activity slide in the presentation to enable the Edit Activity button, as shown in the below figure.
To edit an interactive activity slide
- Open your PowerPoint presentation and Sign In through the Echo360 tab.
- Navigate to the slide you want to edit.
- Click Edit Activity from the Echo360 ribbon.
The PowerPoint window changes to show your editing options. What you see will vary depending on the type of activity you are editing.
Multiple Choice Activities
To edit a multiple choice activity
- Select the activity slide, then click Edit Activity from the ribbon.
The edit activity panel appears to the right of the activity slide.
- Change the text in the Question Text field, or any of the Answer fields as needed.
- Add or remove Answer choices from the list.
- Use the Correct checkboxes to add or change the correct answer(s) to the question.
- Enable or disable the Require a follow up short answer checkbox.
NOTE: Activities that require justifications cannot be answered by students via SMS (text). - When finished, click Update.
The activity slide refreshes with your changes.
Image Quiz Activities
To edit an image activity
- Select the activity slide, then click Edit Activity from the ribbon.
The edit activity panel appears to the right of the activity slide.
- Change the text in the Question Text field.
- Change or move the correct answer location box as needed.
- Enable or disable the Require a follow up short answer checkbox.
- When finished, click Update.
The activity slide refreshes with your changes.
Free Response Activities
To edit a free response activity
- Select the activity slide, then click Edit Activity from the ribbon.
The edit activity panel appears to the right of the activity slide.
- Change the text in the Question Text field.
- When finished, click Update.
The activity slide refreshes with your changes.
Media Slides
To edit a media slide
- Select the media slide, then click Edit Activity from the ribbon.
The edit media slide panel appears to the right of the slide.
- Change the text in the URL field.
- When finished, click Update.
The media slide refreshes with your changes.
