The front panel display on the EchoVideo Pod device provides access to a series of device menus, allowing you to interact directly with the device as needed.
Each of the menus is described below, along with the options provided for each.
The information below assumes the Pod device has already been installed and configured (a device configuration file uploaded to the device).
Home Menu
From the recording status screen, which appears by default on the Pod, swipe from left to right on the touchscreen to bring up the Home menu. The Home menu is the main access point to the available Pod action menus. You can always navigate back to the Home menu by swiping left-to-right, to back out of the selected menu.
Device Configuration can limit Admin Menu access: The device configuration for the Pod contains an option to disable access to the Administration menu from the device touchscreen. If Administration menu access is disabled, you will see an Administration option on the Home menu but will not be able to access it.
Recording Menu Options
The Recording Menu provides information regarding the capture profile and capture sources, as described in the table below. All options in the Recording menu are selectable/configurable.

HDMI Audio: All selected audio inputs are mixed. Meaning if HDMI audio is enabled for either/both video channels, the sound feed from HDMI input(s) will be combined and synced with the Audio channel feed (Balanced or Unbalanced). To use ONLY the HDMI audio, select None for the Audio input. |

Inputs menu
The Inputs menu shows which inputs have valid connections (Channels 1 and 2). The Inputs menu options are view-only (not selectable).

Network Menu
The Network menu shows network connections and settings. Swipe up and down on the touchscreen to scroll and see all of the menu options.
The Network menu options are view-only (not selectable). If you need to change any of the information shown, access the Manage network option in the Administration menu (both described below).

Default Gateway | Default router IP address (if connected to an Ethernet network). |
Primary DNS | Displays the address of your Primary DNS. |
Secondary DNS | Displays the address of your Secondary DNS. |
Ethernet Link | Displays whether the device has a valid Ethernet connection. Displays Yes or No |
Ethernet Speed | Displays the current speed of the Ethernet connection. |
Ethernet Duplex | Displays the current Ethernet mode. Displays Full or Half |
NTP Server | Displays the address of the time server you are syncing with. |
NTP Status | Displays whether or not the device is in sync with the NTP Server. |
Proxy Server | Displays the address of your Proxy Server (if applicable). |
Server Connection | Displays whether the device is connected to EchoVideo's active learning platform. Displays Connected or Disconnected |
Status menu
The Status menu shows the status of the appliance itself. The Status menu options are view-only (not selectable).

Uptime | Provides information on OS uptime (since the last reboot). |
Device time | Lists device time in Local Time. |
Device date | List device date in MM/DD/YYYY (US) or DD/MM/YYYY (UK) format. |
Scheduled recordings | Lists upcoming scheduled recordings. The information that will be displayed includes the date of recording in MM/DD/YYYY (US) or DD/MM/YYYY (UK) and the title of the recording. |
Resources | Displays device resources including CPU Utilization, Fan speed, Temperature, Disk Storage Space Free, and Disk Storage Space Available. |
Administration menu
The Administration Menu provides controls for the administration of the device. Swipe up and down on the touchscreen to scroll and see all of the menu options.
All options on the administration menu are selectable/configurable.
NOTE: The device configuration for the Pod contains an option to disable access to the administration menu from the device touchscreen. If Administration Menu access is disabled, you will see an Administration option on the Home menu but will not be able to access it.

Manage network (Network Administration)
The Manage Network Menu allows an administrator or technician to configure the device for use over a wired LAN network, or via Wifi.
All options on the Network administration menu are selectable/configurable.
Update your device.xml if necessary. Wi-Fi connectivity was initially disabled on the Pod appliances. If you do not see the Manage WiFi option in the Manage Network menu, download a new device.xml from EchoVideo and apply it to the Pod. Once applied, you should have wireless connectivity options to select from.
LAN Administration (Manage LAN)

WIFI Administration (Manage Wi-Fi)
Update your device.xml if necessary. Wi-Fi connectivity was initially disabled on the Pod appliances. If you do not see the Manage WiFi option in the Manage Network menu, download a new device.xml from EchoVideo and apply it to the Pod. Once applied, you should have wireless connectivity options to select from.
