If your administrator has configured an Echo360 embed media tool for your D2L/Brightspace environment, Students can also embed media from Echo360 into Brightspace content windows. This includes the ability to respond to Assignments using their Echo360 media.
Two points to be aware of surrounding the embed media for assignments feature and Brightspace:
- The student library must be enabled OR the student must have the Post permission within one or more Collections to be able to submit Echo360 media for an assignment.
- Brightspace assignment submissions are not "locked down" in Echo360; students can still edit or delete the submitted media.
This article provides instructions for creating an Assignment in Brightspace that allows for Student submission of Echo360 media, as well as brief instructions for students for submitting Echo360 media for a Brightspace assignment. Students can also refer to Embedding Echo360 Media into Brightspace, as the instructions are effectively the same.
