If you have multiple roles in the system (a student in some courses, an instructor or teaching assistant in others), you can switch to another role within your current institution to view the relevant courses without having to log in again.
In fact, the Courses tab will ONLY list the courses assigned for the currently logged-in role. In order to see and access other courses, you MUST change your role. This changes the courses shown on your Courses page.
To change your currently active role
- After logging in, click your avatar (or the placeholder) located in the upper right corner of the screen.
A pop-up box appears containing a Logout link.
If you have multiple roles in the system, it will also contain a "Change Role" button.
- Click Change, as identified in the above figure.
- Use the drop-down lists to select a different Role to work with. (As a side note: If you need to change institutions, you will need to log out and back in. The VAST majority of users do not work with multiple institutions, so changing institutions will be rare for most users.)
- When finished, click OK. Your Courses page should change to now list those courses in which you are enrolled as the newly selected Role.
