The EchoVideo mobile app lets you view presentation content directly from your class on your mobile device. If your instructor has published a presentation, you can browse slides, zoom in on content, participate in classroom activities, and switch between presentation and media views without leaving the classroom.
Switch Between Channels
Classes that contain both a video and a presentation open with the video displayed by default. To view the presentation, tap the Channel Selector in the upper-right corner and select the presentation.
If a class contains only a presentation, it opens directly to the slide deck.
Navigate the Slide Deck
The presentation viewer provides several ways to browse and review slides.
You can:
- View thumbnail previews of every slide in the presentation (shown in the image below).
- Tap a thumbnail to open that slide.
- Swipe left or right in the mobile player to move between slides.
- Pinch to zoom in or out for a closer view of slide content and images.
If your instructor has hidden one or more slides, those slides appear with a Hidden icon, as shown in the image above, and cannot be opened.
Interact with Presentation Content
Depending on how your instructor has configured the class, you can interact with the presentation while viewing slides.
Available features may include:
- Responding to activity or polling questions.
- Adding personal notes.
- Bookmarking slides for later review or flagging anything confusing.
- Creating discussion posts or replying to existing discussions.
